Built By Someone in the Pews
I’m Dale. I’ve been part of two church plants, and I’ve never been on staff at a church — always a volunteer. Worship leader, digital communications, whatever needed doing.
Attuned came from that experience — specifically, from the frustration of knowing our church had good data in Planning Center, but never being able to get anything useful out of it. The information was there. It just wasn’t telling us anything.
After some conversations with Pastor Mike at Rising Hope Church about what he actually needed — who’s slipping, who needs follow-up, who’s been missing — I started building something to surface those answers.
But honestly, this is about more than just one feature. I want to change how churches handle the admin side of ministry. No more clipboard sign-ins. No more manually tracking attendance and serving. Churches should be able to focus on people, not spreadsheets.
I’m building Attuned because I’ve been the volunteer trying to help a church grow — and I know how much time gets lost to things that should just happen automatically.
